Cyber Analytics and Datasets

Industrial Control Systems are integral critical infrastructure for vital industries such as electricity, oil and gas, water, transportation and chemical manufacturing. Cyber security research has highlighted fundamental risks associated with Industrial Control Systems and cyber security defensive techniques and countermeasures are required. In response to this, the aims of the Cyber Analytics and Datasets project are threefold. First, to create virtual Industrial Control Systems to overcome some of the traditional difficulties in this field. Second, to implement these virtual control systems in a distributed, large scale environment. Third, to use these virtual systems to create datasets of industrial control data and network traffic. This data are meant for use by research in big data, cyber security, machine learning and other related fields.
